1. Introduction

Shorgol Studio ("we," "our", "us") cares about your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you download or run the mobile game, Miku's Balloon ("App").

2. Information we collect

The information we collect is necessary to allow the App to function and to enhance our App experience:

a. Information about your device and technology (automatically collected)

  • Your device type, operating system, screen size, language, device identifiers (as permitted by applicable platform policies), crash reports, and performance diagnostics. We collect this information automatically upon the initial launch of the app and while you are actively using the app for analytics and for improving performance and stability of the app.

b. Information you provide to us (voluntarily)

  • Username: An optional display name you can optionally choose to enter into the App. If you enter a display name, it will default to "Anonymous". We do not need to know your real name to create a user account.

c. Your usage of the app

  • Your general gaming statistics (level completed, success or failure events, leaderboard statistics) which are used for analytics and to generate the daily leaderboard.

3. What we do with your information

We use the data collected to:

  • Run and support the App (leaderboard and scoring).
  • Enhance and analyze App performance and stability.
  • Identify, stop and deal with technical problems and misuse.

4. Sharing with others and third party services

  • We may provide aggregate or anonymous analytics to third party services (e.g. analytics, crash reporting services) so they can assist us in providing better support for the App. Third party services are service providers to us and are bound by contractual restrictions to only use the data provided to them for their contracted purpose. If we would otherwise share your personal data with third parties in other ways, we will outline those in this Privacy Policy.

5. Retention of data

  • We retain analytics and diagnostic data for up to 24 months, except where a longer retention period is required by law. You can ask to remove your optional username and related data — please see "Contact" below.

6. Security of data

  • We take reasonable technical and administrative steps (TLS/HTTPS, access control) to ensure that data is protected. However, no data transmission or storage is completely secure; therefore, we cannot provide absolute security.

7. Children

  • The App is designed for general audiences. We do not intentionally collect personal information from children less than thirteen years old. If you suspect we have inadvertently collected information from a child less than thirteen years old, please contact us and we will remove it.

8. Your rights

You may have certain rights depending on your location regarding accessing, correcting, deleting, or exporting your data. Please see "Contact" to exercise such rights.

9. No ads, no sales

  • The App does not contain advertisements. We do not sell personal data.

10. Changes to this policy

We reserve the right to make changes to this policy. The date will be changed when we last updated it. Major changes will be announced in the App or on this website.
